c) When Contacting via WhatsApp

This website offers the option to contact me via the messenger service WhatsApp. WhatsApp is a service of WhatsApp Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland, a subsidiary of Meta Platforms, Inc.

When you contact me via WhatsApp, your phone number and the messages you send are transmitted to WhatsApp. In addition, WhatsApp processes metadata such as IP address, device ID, and usage times. This data may be transferred to Meta servers in the USA.

I use WhatsApp exclusively for communication with you and for processing your inquiries. The legal basis for processing is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR (consent), as you initiate the contact via WhatsApp yourself.

This website is hosted on a dedicated server in Germany (Strato data center, located in southern Germany). The server location is in the Federal Republic of Germany. No transfer of personal data to third countries takes place.
